Since childhood, Walter Renfrey has spent many happy hours lost in the world of children’s fantasy adventure books and the magic of the cinema.

He loved Walt Disney’s animation, and was in the children’s Sunshiners Club of the local radio station.  He won many movie tickets in their drawing competitions.

Walter graduated from Swinburne College of Technology with Honours and had a successful career as an Art Director in advertising before becoming a semi-finalist (top 1% of 5,000 entries) in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards.

His advertising clients were from retail, automotive, finance, computers, food and beverages, fashion & cosmetics, and telecommunications industries.

He now creates stories for children’s books, films and television.

A film script, based on the book, is now under development.

Walter lives in Melbourne, Australia.
